SA/NT LOGO
The central banner
represents the geographical shape of the SA/NT District. The cross which
stretches across this area evokes a sense of movement and progression. Also,
its flowing lines are not restricted by boundaries, just like the spread of the
gospel.
The circle of dots
represents different communities coming together in unity. These communities
are individual and diverse, yet under the one banner of Christ and focused on
Him. This circle is open for more communities to join.
The earthy colours are
representative of the Australian outback and acknowledge our multicultural
population, particularly our indigenous peoples.
This design reinforces the
Lutheran Church SA/NT District mission statement.
The
The Lutheran Church of
SA/NT, called together as one church, affirms that we are sent out by the
command of Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be people of God,
participating in diverse ways in God’s mission plan “to gather up all creation
in Christ.”
